TM UK Team to attend Irish Championship Round 3 at Ferns

This Sunday, 15th May, sees the motocross juggernaut that is the Irish Championship roll into the Co. Wexford town of Ferns. This will be the third stop the G&G Ross backed series has made in 2011 having visited two other corners of the country already; Cork and Desertmartin.
To add to an already exciting event the South East Motocross Club can confirm that the Electraction TM UK team will be attending Ferns Motocross Park. The four man strong team will consist of Stuart Edmonds and Jim Davies in MX2 along with Ryan Pottenger and Ashley Greedy in MX1.
Edmonds’ first outing on Irish soil this year has been much anticipated following the Dublin man’s strong showings in the UK this year. Edmonds currently lies 4th in the Red Bull Pro National Series and scored an impressive 7th place at round 4 of the British Championship at Milton Park.
Jim Davies, former British 125cc 2 stroke Champion, has been a regular points scorer in the British MX1 Championship and will provide a strong challenge in MX2 this weekend while Ryan Pottenger will throw his leg over the bigger TM 450fi and try ruffle a few feathers.
The fourth member, Ashley Greedy, put in an impressive ride and Milton Park a couple of weeks ago, qualifying just behind Ulster man Gordon Crockard and recording a 15th overall for the day after he dnf’d the first moto.
Add in Moto One KTM’s Wayne Garret, Watt Kawasaki’s Tommy Merton, not to mention Richard Bird, Gary Gibson and Michael Mahon and it becomes very hard to pick a winner!
